With 8 minutes played, Olly Clare was fouled in the Burnley penalty area but Chris Burton placed the resultant penalty wide of the goal. Two minutes later Phil Howard got the final touch on the ball following a corner to open the scoring. Just before half time we doubled our lead when Chris Porter fired home a cross. With 55 minutes on the clock we scored a third goal when Phil Howard was on hand to score following a free kick from Craig Bradshaw. On the hour, we couldn't clear a free kick and the ball was knocked into our goal. With 10 minutes remaining, Boys Club hit the crossbar but we held on for a comfortable victory.
